About

lunar mongoose [lü-nər män-güs] (n.): A species of mongoose well known for its predilection for writing. The level of skill in this endeavor varies individually, but there are several trademarks that remain constant. For one, the lunar mongoose usually restricts itself to a few subjects. It also tends to work slowly, only writing when it has inspiration. This leads some to accuse the lunar mongoose of laziness, a claim it generally does not deny. As this species of mongoose is rare, little else is known about it, though there are several research efforts currently in progress.

Guidelines

The lunar mongoose is generally a gentle creature, though one must still be on guard to ensure that he does not provoke a rare show of ire. Abiding by the following guidelines will reduce this risk.

Please mind your manners. The lunar mongoose encourages criticism on its works, but will become upset at simple mindless bashing.
Never, under any circumstances, steal its work. The lunar mongoose is almost ridiculously attached to its writing and will go into a rage.
The mongoose also greatly appreciates comments and criticism on its work, though there is no known negative reaction if a visitor fails to leave either.
